Marc’s Story
“ I can be myself and my boys feel like they belong.”
Channel is right next to the water and a nature reserve. Teachers can just take their class down to explore and play. There’s lots of space and the library is beautiful and airy. It’s a tight knit community but very welcoming. I can be myself and my boys feel like they belong.
I enjoy the outdoors and riding my bike. My boys and I like to ride our bikes to school. It’s great way to spend time together. Channel also has Bike Week. Bike Week is a whole week where children are able to ride bikes. Every kid is riding without training wheels after the first few days.
“the answer to the world’s problems is, to learn to love.”
The school motto Love to Learn and Learn to Love, is one of my favourite things about the school. I love how both of those aspects come together. I love learning… and the answer to the world’s problems is, to learn to love.
